Select Octopus a la Gallega or Octopus a Feira

Ingredients (4 people):

  4 to 6 cooked octopus legs (according to size)
  2-3 potatoes
  Coarse salt (to taste)
  Sweet or spicy paprika (or a mix of both, depending on personal preference)
  Mild-tasting olive oil

Preparation:

 

Cut the octopus with kitchen shears into 1-cm thick slices.

Serve on a wooden platter over a bed of boiled potatoes.

Season with coarse salt, sprinkle with paprika (spicy or sweet), and drizzle with a bit of olive oil.
